First variation: 1st type Fodens have a block grille and a paint flash down the side of the cab whereas 2nd types have angel wing grilles. 1st Types are "earlier" issues and usually more valuable. Second: The 500 series was made years earlier than 900 series; 500s are generally more valuable. Third: is colour - some colours are common and others were produced in small quantities. Remember that value can be exponential based on condition; perfect examples can be worth double a "near mint" model.
